| Description:
The
Becker RP Series (Rotary Piston Double Acting) Actuator utilizes
pressurized natural gas to provides the muscle to motivate ball type control
valves. The RPDA utilizes a high pressure pneumatic piston and crank-arm
design specifically suited for control valve modulation. The RPDA is capable
of throttling ball type control valves up to 42 bore (600 ANSI). The
RPDA Series actuator may be utilized for on-off actuation or for precise
regulation of natural gas pipelines. The Becker RPDA Series actuators
may be supplied as a complete control valve package or for retrofit to
customers existing quarter-turn valves.

Benefits
- Vertical
actuator orientation provides improved wearability and reliability
- High
pressure design of pneumatic piston allows utilization of Beckers
unique bleed to pressure system feature
- Near
zero friction superior design ensures accurate positioning with no control
hysteresis.
- Torque
arm design actuator provides higher torque output than Scotch-yoke style
actuators.
